Question install GNOME 3 in debian 6.0.3


hi

how can i install GNOME 3 in Debian 6.0.3?

is GNOME 3 safe and stable for Debian 6.0.3?

Well to do it using Debian repositories you will make your Squeeze system turn into Wheezy.

Um the answer is basically no. But having said that it is stable I use it with Sid and haven't had any issues. What you are wanting, this is what I am getting from your post anyway, is to keep Squeeze but have Gnome 3. You can't do that because Squeeze (Gnome 2) is gtk2 and Wheezy/Sid (Gnome 3) is gtk3. You will basically wipe out 99.9% of your Desktop environment not to mention your base system will undergo huge upgrades and possibly break your system if you are not careful.
