I need a full-featured writers word-processing window instant when the need happens.
I’ve almost got it solved..
After boot-up, I click-up FocusWriter, then leave it minimized... When I needs an instant word editor window, it's there and prime, instantly ready, has spellchecker, even auto-saves, and when I click on a FocusWriter saved file, it opens in gedit perfectly.. But FocusWriter doesn't start minimized at boot-up, yet.. but all it takes for that feature to be added is to post this post... And there's a tiny problem I'm experiencing with FocusWriter.. I added a theme, but I don't want that theme anymore.. When I click-up themes, and that unwanted theme, and click "Remove" it deletes, but the next time I run FocusWriter that trashed theme is back... I just can't get rid of the piece of trash, without “sandpapering the hd’s platter”... How do you totally delete an unwanted theme from FocusWriter?.. ______________ Oops!, On second thought, maybe it was I who caused that glitch by editing the default theme..? I'm looking into it... |
to add a program at startup...
System > Preferences > Startup Applications > then click 'add' (to locate the program try, in terminal mode: whereis insert program name) and...just a reminder, search for answers first before posting a question, thats how I found this for you... |
