I have problem in ubuntu 9.04 .

I have installed wine on ubuntu 9.04 but it now showing error .

when i type #winecfg command it show following error .

Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded.
Make sure that your X server is running and that $DISPLAY is set correctly.

If you are getting these errors while running as root then try running the command as an ordinary user in a terminal started from the Gnome desktop.
