howto create GUI-graphical wrapper for command line program

Can anyone suggest tools or frameworks or similar that
will let me create quick and dirty GUI or graphical
wrappers for the command line tools?

I have several command line programs (in C and C++).
In most cases, they present formatted results to STDOUT.
The format and details of the results are determined
by command line options. Input data might be derived from
system or session state or otherwise built-in
for the program or supplied as an input file named
as an option.

Merci d'avance,
~~~ 0;-Dan
xdialog, kdialog, or zenity. They aren't meant for advanced stuff, but good for popping up simple prompts and information windows in scripts.
You may also want to look at xmessage and gxmessage, which is xmessage but uses the current GTK theme.
Good suggestions, all. Thanks heaps !!!
Does anyone know if there is a Python-based kit or similar for wrapping
CLI applications? I'd be using Python to distance from any display-specific
details -- plain-X vs. GTK vs. whatever.
Thanks again,
I don't know much about them, but there are several python bindings for gui toolkits.
tkinter
wxPython
PyGTK
PyQt
