How to turn off threads view in Thunderbird inbox.
I have no idea how this happened, but somehow I or my wife must have turned on "threads" view in Tbird for one of our four inbox folders. All of the others are like they were, and the outbox for the same account hasn't changed as well. But for one specific inbox, now all messages are grouped into "Today", "Last Week", "Two Weeks Ago", and "Old Mail". I've looked all around the program for the screen to change this setting back to normal, and can't find it. I searched this forum and the Mozilla forum but can't find any answer to this. Does anyone here know how to change this back?

Take a look you incoming mail; you will see a header containing the following: an upside down debian icon (your thread icon), a paper clip, Subject, Sender, Recycle, and date. Just click on the icon that looks like an upside down debian icon, that should do it.
Hope this helps,
eek
Oh, take a look at you View->Sort By and make sure un Threaded is selected.

Thanks! That did the trick. I should have seen that. Still, this is a strange location for them to put that controll, since this really isn't a sorting option, and there are menu choices for "Threads" and "Layout" either of which would both seem a much more logical place to put this.
I still really like Tbird, so I guess I won't ask for my money back after all
