How to Stop XFCE Thunar from showing hidden files first
almost every other file manager, when you tell it to show hidden files, shows them after non-hidden files, except Thunar. i have tried and tried, searched and searched for a way but can't find one. is there anything that can be changed so that it does not show hidden files first?
in other words, show files like this File 1 File 2 File 3 .hidden file 1 .hidden file 2 instead of like this .hidden file 1 .hidden file 2 File 1 File 2 File 3 |
Right-click empty space between files => Sort...
what are the options? that's what you got, i don't think there's more. fwiw, it's not only thunar. i think it's the logic of sorting; numbers, punctuation etc. are sorted before letters. |

This question has been asked in various places and there doesn't seem to be a solution. I'd just run it with hidden files hidden and use Ctrl-h when I need them.
