How to start to install multiple distro's on a clean Hard Drive?

For program testing purposes I need to install several Linux distro's on my Hard drive.
I plan to do it by first formatting the partitions first for the first distro, then install it. Then on the remaining free space, formatting partitions for the second distro, and so on.
Will I see at boot time all the installed distro's listed to choose from?

Cheers,

Joseph

there shouldn't be a problem as long as you install grub. make sure you only write to the master boot record the FIRST time. Grub should autodetect the new OS's with each new install although you may have to write to it manually with each new install

if you install debian/ubuntu last it will pick up all the other installs when it/you does update-grub
at or after install
so, install debian or ubuntu last or any other distro that comes with grub2
