How to play DTS-encoded Media in ubuntu 10.04 using rhythmbox?

Hi. I have some DTS-encoded CDs and media files. However, the rhythmbox program in UBuntu 10.04 can't play them correctly. I only hear noise. The rhythmbox program in Ubuntu 12.04 can play them correctly. But I do not like the style of Ubuntu 12.04.
Which packages should I install in ubuntu 10.04 to make rhythmbox play the DTS-encoded media correctly. Thanks.

Try installing vlc and playing your dts files on there. Usually, vlc can handle anything you can through at it.
