How make xfce4-mixer work with alsa?

After I built the new kernel with "snd_hda" module, the audio card is drived and I can turn the volume by alsamixer. But xfce4-mixer isn't effectively. It look like the file '/dev/snd/mixer' which xfce4-mixer used is incorrect. Some one can help me!
