How do you get Jaunty Jackalope Mozilla; to connect to the Internet......

I recently set up an older Pentium 3 desktop w/ Jaunty Jackalope 9.04. The Netbook I am typing this on right now(ASUS Eee PC w/ Win 7);is connected on a home network, that is using the WiFi signal, that is going through that Linux Machine. The Linux machine's Mozilla browser does not seem to be able to use/connect w/ the DLink USB adapter's "Auto Linksys" internet connection. Is there a easy fix for this problem?

All support for Ubuntu 9.04 has ended. It is an obsolete release. I would suggest trying the current release (10.10) which will have support for the latest hardware. Perhaps your DLink will work "out of the box" using the current release?

Thanks for the quick response, I'll try to upgrade that machine, I hope it has enough resources to do so.
