How do I install/enable compiz fusion in slack 12.2vm 64mb vid. ram vbox guest add.

would've been more descriptive on my stats, but here's what I'm working with: slack 12.2 with a 15GB virtual hard disk, 486 MB of ram, 64MB of video ram, virtual box guest additions installed, kde 3.5, and a broadband connection. As for the host, it's ubuntu 8.04, 128 MB of video ram, compiz running flawlessly, nvidia geforce4, 1GB of ram, Pentium 4 single core, and, again, broadband wired connection. I would also like to get screen resolution to my native of 1280x1024, or at least 1152x864. Currently it is stuck with 1024x768. I have minimal experience with the terminal, simply starting up kde, installing bin files, and decompressing tar balls.

First of all, get sbopkg:
http://www.sbopkg.org/
Install it, as root:
Code:

installpkg sbopkg-0.27.4-noarch-1_cng.tgz
Then run it, still as root, rsync with slackbuilds.org, then open the Desktop section, look for compiz-bcop - on that page it tells you what else to get and in what order.
