How do I configure titlebar buttons in Compiz?

Ok, I have Debian Testing (Etch) installed with XOrg 7.1 + Compiz. I run KDE as my desktop.

In KDE I normally have the close button moved over to the left hand side (which is how I like it). From what I can tell, Compiz just takes its window decoration settings from Metacity.

I have downloaded and installed gconf-editor and I went and did this:

/apps/metacity/general/button_layout = close:menu,minimize,maximize

But my buttons are still arranged like this:

menu:minimize,maximize,close

How do I change the button layout in Compiz? Also, if anyone knows how to change the window decoration theme that would be good too.

Thanks!

If you are using vanilla compiz you cannot change window decorator use beryl (http://www.beryl-project.org) instead
