Post How can I search button in Thunar file manager?


Hello.
I installed Xfce4 in debian Jessie but I have not search button in file manager. How can I enable it?

Try starting with Thunar help. This should lead, eventually, to this page:

http://docs.xfce.org/xfce/thunar/4.1...s[]=search

It shows different ways to get what you want.

I read "https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ThunarCustomActions" and according to the "Search Including Hidden Files/Folders" part I added a new action via Configure custom actions.I installed "catfish" too but when I right click in a directory and select "Search Including Hidden Files/Folders" not anything appeared !!!
