GTK Theme- changing color of text within apps so that they aren't the same

As per subject, I'm using a GTK theme within Openbox that causes the text within applications to blend with the background, which tells me that the text color is the same as the background color (well, duh...). Anyway, I know which files to edit within the theme to change the text color to something else that's readable, but I don't know what the text within the applications is called, and hence, the tag/label that needs to be edited within the theme itself. For instance, here are two shots of the Remmina connection window. The first is with the Albatross theme; the second is the theme that I'm using:

http://atari.vg-network.com/temp/2.png

(I don't see an image embed tab here...)

See what I mean? I'm new to the usage of downloaded themes, but I am pretty good at figuring out how to edit things. I just need to know which label I need to look for within the theme css/ini files to fix the theme, so that I can actually see this text.

Thanks for any help offered, and I hope my rambling isn't too confusing...

Looks like the problem firefox was exhibiting in Fedora with one of the earlier versions of gtk3-3.15.4. Upgrading (I'm now using gtk3-3.15.8) solved the problem

I'm up to date with gtk (I'm running Debian Wheezy). I ended up modifying the Mist theme with the elements that I liked from the theme that was causing the problem, and that fixed the issue. That, and a little Google-fu to learn a bit more about themes. I'm not exactly sure what the problem was; must have been something within the theme itself that I just couldn't find.
