GTK Fonts problem under KDE 3.5

Hi,

I have very annoying problem with my fonts in GTK applications under KDE 3.5.
Fonts in KDE looks well, but in GTK applications they look like un-antialiased or so.
I have modified .fonts.conf and .gtkrc-2.0-kde files. They are:

Code:
cat .fonts.conf
<?xml version="1.0"?><!DOCTYPE fontconfig SYSTEM "fonts.dtd">
<fontconfig>
 <match target="font" >
  <edit mode="assign" name="rgba" >
   <const>none</const>
  </edit>
 </match>
 <match target="font" >
  <edit mode="assign" name="hinting" >
   <bool>true</bool>
  </edit>
 </match>
 <match target="font" >
  <edit mode="assign" name="hintstyle" >
   <const>hintfull</const>
  </edit>
 </match>
 <match target="font" >
  <edit mode="assign" name="antialias" >
   <bool>true</bool>
  </edit>
 </match>
Code:
cat .gtkrc-2.0-kde
# This file was written by KDE
# You can edit it in the KDE control center, under "GTK Styles and Fonts"

include "/usr/share/themes/Industrial/gtk-2.0/gtkrc"

style "user-font"
{
        font_name="Sans 10"
}
widget_class "*" style "user-font"

gtk-theme-name="Industrial"
gtk-font-name="Sans 10"
Code:
ls /etc/fonts/conf.d
10-sub-pixel-rgb.conf      30-defoma.conf          40-nonlatin.conf   50-user.conf   65-fonts-persian.conf  70-no-bitmaps.conf  README
20-fix-globaladvance.conf  30-metric-aliases.conf  45-latin.conf      51-local.conf  65-nonlatin.conf       80-delicious.conf
20-unhint-small-vera.conf  30-urw-aliases.conf     49-sansserif.conf  60-latin.conf  69-unifont.conf        90-synthetic.conf

Configuration looks correctly but fonts still ugly, see screenshot:

So if anyone has suggestion how to solve this please share it with me

Cheers,
Volodya

Not rhel and not centos. I'm using Debian Lenny but prefer to use KDE 3.5.
Also all worked fine for a long time, until I changed fonts (and some settings) in kcontrol.
I upgraded my system from Etch and this also may be an issue.

This problem will be resolved by Squeeze release, because I'm planing to do system re-install.
But still want to know where is the problem here
