graphics problem
I dont know how to describe it,but I´ll try. I´m using Debian Lenny on my notebook Dell Inspiron 1520 with Nvidia 8400GS M. Problem is, that I´ve installed nvidia graphics from nvidia homepage, than compiz and after 30min - 1h using in my gnome menu when I selected option there was selected more options at the same time. Or in my terminal I was writing text but I´ve seen nothing. When I turnout compiz, It´s working normally. Where could be problem?

1. You complain about some problem and give us information on it. 2. We ask questions and tell you to try stuff and do stuff. 3. You answer the questions, do the stuff we suggested and clearly tell us the result. 4. Some genius shouts 'eureka' , makes a diagnosis, and tells you how to sort it. We're currently stuck on 1 :-/. |
...what driver it finds and uses. <-- what driver do you mean? graphics? version of this driver? version of xserver? I don't understand you.
...What is compiz? <-- oukej, I say it othervise. If graphical effects are turned on, in gnome menu are selected more options than one. If I turn it out, it woks normally. |
