First off, I doubt the problem has anything to do with the actual distro itself, but if you guys feel its absolutely neccesary to test it on a different distro, I will.
...Also, I'm kind of newbish at Linux... I know how to do simple installs on programs and drivers, and thats it.
I downloaded the Live CD from Kororaa.org, which comes pre-loaded with XGL and AIGLX, and I'm very pleased with everything on it so far, except for the graphical glitches. The glitches are stuff like square trails following the mouse cursor, highlight box trails, partially highlighted buttons (doesn't matter if cursor is hovering over them), and I can't change the monitor size without the whole screen going white. None of this stuff happens if I don't have AIGLX or XGL enabled.
I've also searched for anybody else with this problem, in vain.
So is anybody familiar with this issue?
