gpilot crashing on pilot sync

I am having trouble with synching my old clie. Everything was working smoothly until I experienced a bug on a database program that I run on the clie. It messed up some data in the database, so I decided to simply install the backed up version of the data file from my computer (running Ubuntu 7.04 by the way).

So I installed the backup version using...

Code:
gpilot-install-file --later file.pdb
When I synced, however. gpilot crashed. And this happens every time now. It tries to install file.pdb, freezes on that installation, and then crashes. I can't figure out how to stop it from trying to install file.pdb.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
~daveZ

Still having problems. I searched my computer for files that mentioned the .pdb file that was causing the problem, but to no avail. I've looked into uninstalling gnome-pilot, but if I do that it looks like I would have to uninstall the package "ubuntu-desktop" which is pretty critical, I think, so I don't want to do that.

So now I have the file conduit disabled and I can sync, I just can't put anything on my pda. Really annoying since there's a book I'd like to put on right about now.
