Question Got a stuck folder icon on 3.5.9 Gentoo

Every time I make a new folder icon it pops up a network samba link icon. Not sure how it happened but I've tried replacing the icon but the next icon pops up the same.

Also, changing the icon theme does not change it back either.... it's stuck like white on rice!!! I have tried reemerging kde-base (gentoo) but it's back when I boot in.

Open a terminal window. Run kcontrol. Select Desktop -> Behavior. Select the file icons tab and check to see which icons you want to see on the desktop. Then select the device icons tab and do the same.
