gnome terminal will be opened

Hai everyone
I am using RHEL5 and I always login and logout as root and local users. I want a gnome terminal will be opened defaultly when I login. Is there any way to solve that one.

Use Gnome's Control Centre to add the terminal to Startup Programs.
