GNOME: is there a list windows menu?

In the default configuration for KDE, when I click a empty area of a workspace with the middle button of the mouse, a menu list with all the open X applications on each workspace appears.

Is there something similar for the GNOME desktop?

There is - but it's not a mouse action. If memory serves me correctly, the default GNOME layout has a small icon on the top panel, off to the right-hand side. It's a window list, but as a panel applet. :)

Thanx a lot... Yes, it is an applet but it is not on the top panel in my default configuration. I have already added it to the panel and now I have got what I was looking for. ;-)
