Question Gnome Icon names for Icon themes

Im looking for a list of icons to use when creating a icon theme for gnome.

at the moment i cant get a replacement GIMP icon to work, ive tried these so far, but they dont replace the icon in either the menu or desktop.

/scalable/apps/gimp.svg
/scalable/apps/gimp-2.0.svg
/scalable/apps/gimp-2.2.svg
/scalable/apps/gnome-gimp.svg

Anyone know where there is a list of the most common icons?

I dunno which distro you working with so .. run this command ..

$> sudo slocate -u
$> slocate gimp.desktop

Open that file up in vi or something and it should name the actual icon it uses. For desktop, just right-click and click on the icon itself in the properties window.
