Gnome appearance preferences not working since migration from Fedora 7 to F8
Hello,
Since I upgraded from F7 to F8 (not a new install, but an upgrade), the System/Preferences/Appearance menu does not work: I just get briefly the Apperance Preference window, with question marks icons instead of appearances (clearlook, crux, etc.), then it closes itself. This does the same whatever user I log in (even with newly created ones). A fresh install on the same machine will not produce the problem, so this is the migration process that is responsible. Any idea ? Many thanks |
Have you tried to install the fedora-*-theme packages? Such as fedora-gnome-theme.
Thanks, James Glenn www.thedonkdonk.net |
