Gnome's gnome-shell not loading with xorg Twinview in portrait edits...

Hi, I'm running LinuxMint 12, and trying to get my monitors set up in the orientation that I need. After a lot of mucking with xorg.conf I can get the orientation to where I need it, but the taskbar doesn't load. As far as I can tell, the gnome-shell service plays some part in this and is failing to run.

More specifically, looking at the output of dmesg I can see that it generates a segment fault.

Quote:
[ 688.691767] gnome-shell[3345]: segfault at 18 ip 00007f1a9741b307 sp 00007fff69d03d08 error 6 in libcogl.so.5.0.0[7f1a973ca000+71000]
The following is my xorg.conf in case anyone might be willing to have a look, and maybe see what I'm doing wrong.

Code:
# nvidia-settings: X configuration file generated by nvidia-settings
# nvidia-settings: version 295.20 (buildd@yellow) Thu Mar 8 16:20:50 UTC 2012
