Free virtual server for desktop?

I'm familiar with VMWare but its way too expensive. I haven't decided on a distro yet, it'll either be Ubuntu or Fedora Core 10. Does anyone know a good virtual server program that can be used onone of these distros that is either really cheap, or even better free?

You can also get a free version of VMWare: http://register.vmware.com/content/download-109.html

I'd still recommend VirtualBox over it, though.

Fedora comes with Xen and KVM/Qemu.

I recommend VirtualBox too, though.
