maybe yum dont't copy the files to the right place. you should have a libflashplayer.so file in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
If you haven't it, you can download the file in tar.gz format instead of .yum, untar it with "tar -xvf name of file" and copy the untar file to the right place.
i just installed fendora 14, i can't use youtube pandora CNN videos nor any acrobat files. i am a PC user since day one; i just made the switch and i love linux architecture but basic web apps must work. please help.
What are acrobat files? Do you mean PDF (Acrobat is a program to create PDF files, not the format itself)?
If you mean PDF, then Fedora should have come with suitable apps, like Okular (if you chose the KDE desktop), or Evince (if you chose the GNOME desktop).
