firefox - safemode needed to open each time?

firefox loads normally.
I have to follow this safemode-first procedure each time I open firefox. This seems unnecessary, and it seems like there's an easy fix if I know the error. Is there a workaround? Where might I look for an error message?

Try to re-install firefox.

It could be a plugin or extension, which ones do you have installed ? Try to cut down on some.

Yep, Might try making a new Firefox profile to see if that does it, then add them one at a time.
