Firefox crash on actions: File -> open file, bookmarks->Manage->Export
 
Hi,
there is some problem in my firefox.
It crashes here and there..
Here are some scenarios where it crash ..

1. menu File-> Open file crash.
2. menu Bookmarks-.manage bookmarks In manage bookmarks dialog -> export bookmarks here it crash.
3. Drag any pdf or html file into running firefox , crash.

Other Details are:
OS: RHEL5
Firefox Version :1.5.0.12

I am a newbie, and cannnot back trace exactly what caused this.
The problem is not from starting , it is from last few days.

That is a very old release of Firefox. I would suggest you remove it, and install a much newer version.

Here is a link to how to install Firefox on linux. I would suggest you remove the old version. If it was installed through a rpm, then remove it that way. If it was installed from a bin file, you can delete the directory and sub-directories where Firefox lives. Back up your bookmarks first. Other options should be preserved.

Hi,
I'm using Firefox 3.5.3 on Windows 7 64-bit RC and it has just started doing this to me as well.
I know it's not Linux, but did you manage to fix the problem?
