Exclamation Find which packages are installed when /var directory is deleted.

Slackware current
What mess... I delete by shift+del the hole directory /var by mistake. Is there any other place where the installed packages are listed except /var/log/packages? And if someone have good program which recover deleted files lets share it. FS is ext3. Temporarily i use /var folder from my server, which is current version too, but on my laptop i was install so more packages which is not installed on the servers...
Thanks!

There's no guarantee you'll get everything back, especially if you've been using it since it was wiped - I suggest you rebuild.

No, nothing in /tmp.
If i use testdisc or photorec or whatever was the name i have to spent a thousands of hours try to find the correct files which is deleted from /var/log/packages and there is still no guaranty. I can't reinstall the system. I was installed so many packages that i just don't remember all of them. Is there a program which can restore files only from specify folder? I guess no. That will be very happily.
