Fedora - create new Virtual IP

Hi all,

I have desktop loaded with Fedora17. I wanted to have a additional IP.

can someone please help how to create Virtual IPs?

install Apache and use a service like "" to mirror ports to the server
most ISP's ,very much dislike, a server running on " the last mile"
it might " null and void" your contract

I think you need not 'virtual IP' but a virtual network interface.
Create it with the command
ifconfig eth0:1 netmask
ifconfig eth0:2 netmask
ifconfig eth0:3 netmask
and so on.
