Fedora Core 6 - 3D effects

Hi there, Newbie in the House...

I have a problem with enabling my 3d effects on both gnome and kde. In gnome I tried System>preferences>desktop effects and received an error message stating " Couldn't enable desktop feects". I don't have an internet connect is that maybe the problem.

It's most probably down to your X video driver not supporting AIGLX. What video card do you have?
