Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata

Hello

CentOS release 5.3 (Final)
2.6.18-128.el5

I keep getting the following error when I try and yum upgrade a package.

Code:
# yum upgrade subversion
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/5/os/i386/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 12] Timeout: <urlopen error timed out>
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: base. Please verify its path and try again
I can connect to the internet ok, as I can browse to the websites.

I have also done this but still get the same problem.
Code:
yum clean all
This is the contents:
Quote:
cat /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo
# CentOS-Base.repo
#
# This file uses a new mirrorlist system developed by Lance Davis for CentOS.
# The mirror system uses the connecting IP address of the client and the
# update status of each mirror to pick mirrors that are updated to and
# geographically close to the client. You should use this for CentOS updates
# unless you are manually picking other mirrors.
#
# If the mirrorlist= does not work for you, as a fall back you can try the
# remarked out baseurl= line instead.

it seems mirror site not responding.

commnet all baseurl and uncomment mirrorlist lines.

It will access other mirror site if one is not responding.

Reagrds,
