E17, wow


I think I may have just found a new desktop environment. I just installed e17 from cvs on Slack 12, and it is amazing. This thing is cool. I'm brand new to e17, so any configurations, tips, etc, etc.... is welcome. e17 may have just taken me away from KDE, I hate to say.

you're lucky. i've tried e17, but my only install is e16 and yellowdog on an ibook. elive is a fantastic example of e17 ( http://www.elivecd.org/ )

Hi, My Name Brian, I've Installed E17. But Hasnt Enlightened Yet, Because Error On Login. It Says Please Do Not Execute Enlightenment Binary. Use Enlightenment_start Launcher.
I Use Slackware12.
And E17package From Linuxpackages.net.
Can Anyone Help?

If by "new" you mean an enviroment that has been around for quite some time and You just didn't know about it, then I suppose you did.
