Unhappy download accelraters


do you all belive that most mordern and well known dwonload accelraters make multiple threads of downloading process?
if yes then explain.

( I couln't find this ans. satifactory from google !! )

does the internet download schedulers actually use multithreading of downloading process?

no . Actually I am working on this project (see my subscribed threads) and enthusiastically I googled for the same but couldn't find any useful stuff..
