Double X server

I use ubuntu, but my question it's distribution independent i think I play with linux so every time i start a game, the game is executed in my second x server... i don't start it with xinit, because if i would do so, i would launch a new server every time i start the game and that's add a bit of load time that i don't like... i've an idle x server always on... so i've added on the script of the game an 'export DISPLAY=:1.0' to run it on the second... my problem is that when i quit the game, i return on the second server and i have to switch back manually on my desktop with ctrl+alt+f7..... is there a way to automatically switch back to desktop when the program finish? maybe some command to add in the script that launch the game?

thanks

Why do you run the game in another X server instead of the running one that you are using for the desktop ?
