display resolution
 

hi All,

i have Redhat linux 5 on desktop pc with dual boot win XP. XP is working fine but when i start linux boot properly & it comes on command promt. i think it happens due to resolution issue..i think someone changed it

Need your help to resolve this issue

after you logged in as root?

system is not with me right now. i wil try it. anything else i can check ?

i tried this (startx)but it displays Command not found...when i boot linux it comes upto log in screen i m able to login with user id & password.
After log in it shows command window like root@localhost & it shows another window i.e. xclock
