Desktop recording software - low fps

I wish to record my desktop. I found few programs, but the results are awful... The output video is lagging so hard, that I can't even watch it. I can watch any other movie without any problems by using Vlc media player. But the recorded ones are just horrible!

I've tried to use Kazam and ffmpeg script to record. Both set to 24 fps. I have no idea how to solve this problem.
I'm using kde desktop (with KWin windows manager), Kali Linux x64 (Debian Wheeze), Nvidia drivers.

FFmpeg script:
Code:
ffmpeg -f x11grab -s 1440x900 -r 24 -i :0.0 -sameq output.mkv
Code:
username@pcname:~/Desktop$ glxinfo |grep direct
direct rendering: Yes
GL_EXT_Cg_shader, GL_EXT_depth_bounds_test, GL_EXT_direct_state_access,

Have you tried RecordMyDesktop?

It's always worked for me. I have used it to record an online presentation without any difficulty--you can tell it to record the entire screen, an area of the screen, or a particular window.
