Angry Desktop effect enabled make me Re-LOGIN,,,


i dunno
why it happened to me...

at least now i'm using NVDIA Geforce 5500
through my LINUX FEDORA 8

and it seems like it doesnt recognize
my Graphic Card...

coz each time i click System Menu |
Look and Feel | Desktop Effect...

it's disabled.
And if i click on it, coz wanna make it enabled
so suddenly!!

my Computer doing Relogin again...!!
what the h***!!!

even if i use root users...
or as another normal user....

seems it's having prob...

somebody could help me out of this probs>?

Do you have the Nvidia 3D driver installed? If you don't the Desktop Effects will NOT work.

man... actually i'm using Windows XP
with VMWare application then could use the Linux Fedora 8.

Here, within the Windows...it recognize the Geforce 5500
but within the Linux Fedora 8...

seems that it doesnt fit.

is there anyone that could help me out of this??

coz i try to install from LIVNA but then...it appeared
X Server cant be started.

OMG now i'm having stuck!!
help !!

Red face anyway...where's the Device Manager?

any way...i'm not sure
whether the Linux that can know my Geforce 5500 or not
Coz it's already installed.
But seems the appearance even 3d something

cant be good there...
OMG.

So where's the Device Manager within this Fedora 8?
so like Windows XP we could know what kind of Driver
that is needed to be installed...right?

or8 please get my PC details here...
to make sure that I'm not saying a lie to you all
that my NVIDIA is working under XP
but nor under Fedora 8 of VMWare...

please.
