Can you not find these customization resources on your own? |

We can't understand things for you....you have to show some effort of your own, and start to learn. Until you do, there's nothing much anyone, anywhere, can do to assist you. |
Ok.. thanks a lot..

Sorry if my earlier comment was a little harsh.
What I meant earlier was this: "linux distribution" = from the verb "to distribute" meaning "to supply or pass out to others" So if your project is only for you and are not sharing with others, you are not "making a distribution." You are "customizing the Unity desktop environment." TB0ne gave you an excellent link how to customize Unity. Good luck! :) |
ohh!!!... Don't worry about it... but you were told me the real fact thing about me.. so its not a problem. i will look my efforts as my own for done this project. i'll send you the link when its finished.. Thank you...

Here you have the other concept - remaster ? if you want to do a custom distro with custom configs on the environment etc you dont need to do a distro you can use a remaster concept - In Ubuntu are this tuto - https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCDCustomization .
The default configs of an user is placed on /etc/skel. And is very simple make the step to config a custom ISO of a custom distro but this is not a distribution is only a remaster, can be used for specified tasks, for example support disticnt languages, with extra software , with custom aplications etc. You also have - Ubuntu mini remix to build a system since a little system only with the minimum to make the process to build your ISO, Remastersys still work on 14.04 and you have forks of this software like Remaster GTK and in sourceforge you have some aps, but I never test in my case I always use remastersys. |
