I was wondering how to create a custom icons theme for KDE 3.5 under Slackware 11 without installing any extra software. I know how to do a brute force way of overwriting the files in a icons folder but I want my own theme. Thanks for any help!
Examine the existing icons themes.

You should get a pretty good idea how they are put together. One needs but a text editor and a graphics manipulator and patience.
