Cursor issue in Urxvt

I have a strange issue in urxvt. Sometimes the cursor gets duplicated for next 8 chars. Other terminals didn't have this issue. Once I type something it continues to be normal until at somepoint it gets duplicated again.

Here's a pic to make it easier to understand the situation. See the upper-left corner.

I don't have a clue what could be causing it.

Apparently the issue was caused by xft*hinting options on my .Xdefaults.

Issue fixed, move along people. Nothing to see here.
