Smile Currently using OpenSuse 12.2

I have some friends that are using Ubuntu and they love it. I have been using Suse for a long time, I still love it, but wondering if I should give Ubuntu a try for while to see what my friends like about Ubuntu. Am I missing anything that I can't see in OpenSuse 12.2 ?

Though OpenSUSE is a rpm distro it dose things rather different than red hat
It is a bit closer to ubuntu in some ways

go for it if you want
The only to really know is to try it out
Then you can decide

Me personally i dislike sudo on a single user set up
and i like having a very DIFFERENT and HARD password for root
using the first normal users as root's pass never made any sense to me .

who knows you might like "apt-get" or "synaptic" ,or not.
