Creating a custom ISO image.

Hi

I have a Kubuntu distro as my desktop. I have downloaded & installed the necessary components (mp3 support, opera, thunderbird..etc) of my choice. Everything works fine now...

The whole tailoring of this took more than 10 hrs. Most of the time taken by downloading packages...

But if come across a computer crash (hopefully not!!) or configure in a new PC with the same settings, I dont want to start the 10 hr job again...

I wud like to create an ISO image of my distro which has all my goodies... so that when I do a new install on a fresh PC, it just looks like a clone of the original one...

Any ideas on how to do this??

Thanks...

Take a look at the piece of software called MkDistro and alike. Search for more information.
