Converting audio and video files.

Hello.
I'm looking for a legal way of converting video and audio, preferably using gstreamer.
Specifically:
avi to ogg
mov to ogg
wmv to ogg

and
wav to ogg
mp3 to ogg
mp4 to ogg
wma to ogg

Also, how can I edit ogg and avi with Kino. Importing keeps failing.
