Conflict between Thunar and Medit ?

Hello,
after installing slackware 12.1, I notice a strange comportement with Thunar(Xfce) and Medit(text editor).

When I open a file with medit for editing it,
if Thunar is open, even if it is opened after medit,
when I save my file, immediatly Medit signals "this file was modified on disk by another program".

The file is correctly saved and not modified by anything else, of course.

The same error with Medit and PCman

I don't know exactly what program(s) are in question ( medit, thunar, hal, dbus...?)

If you have an idea... and what to do about... Thanks

mcc

Hi and welcome to LQ.

Isn't there an option in medit to disable such notifications? I am sure I have seen this feature in other text editors.

No such feature in medit, i have reread all the preferences.

The same version of medit(0.9.3) and xfce(4.4.2) but with slackware 10.2 don't have the same bizarre thing. With Slack 10.2, thunar don't update automatically file display, perhaps here is the difference ?
Perhaps is it a question for Xfce's forum ?
