"Computer" Folder Details

The Windows "My Computer" has much more detail, and is configured way better. Its has categories, used/total storage in text and bar graph, etc.

Wondering; is there is a way to increase the details of Ubuntu's Nautilus "Computer" folder?

Try Ctrl and + once.
Should zoom in a bit.

Maybe try a utility designed for displaying this information, like KDiskFree. There are lots of choices.
