You are not part of either the video or audio groups. I'm not in front of a linux box at the moment, so I don't know if it's possible to use the group command to add yourself to those groups, but you definitely want to be part of those groups.

Try the command
system-config-users , click on your login id, and select the "Properties" button at the top. In the resulting pop-up, select the "Groups" tab, and check the groups of which you want to be a member.
FYI: Here's the output of my
groups command:

Note that membership in the adm and sys groups is, generally, unwise for a user, and some of those other group memberships are for special applications.

Before you posted I used the command line to add myself to the video group, I am not sure if it worked, but I don't have 3D.sudo system-config-users as PTrenholme suggested, and it said that I already was a member of video (I guess my command worked) but not a member of audio. I made sure video and audio are checked and quit the program. But sound and 3D still don't work.

Yes, you may need to logout and log back in for 3D to start working again. I assume the same could be the case for audio, but I'm honestly not sure about that one.

I do have sound and 3D now, but my keyboard stopped working in X (but still works in command-line).
