Smile Command of VLC for playing MEPG4 media file

Hi,

I got a problem for VLC commands.
As we know, we can use "mplayer -vo vdpau -vc ffodivxvdpau" to play MPEG4 media files by Mplayer. But for VLC, are there any corresponding arguments to specify VO(Video Output) and VC(Video Codec)???
Thank you

VLC tent to choose the best output system (like hardware decode support etc) and determine the Video/Audio codec automatically. You can force VLC to use different output system and somehow codec.
