Changing default user creation

Hello folks

I am hoping someone might point me in the right direction.

I am using pclos2007

I want to alter the way new user accounts are created so that instead of showing the pclos defaults, I can have my own graphics, icons, etc be used as default for each new user acct made.

Any help you can give will be fantastic.

thanks
Big Bear

Hi and welcome to LQ.

If you run Kcontrol (KDE Control Center) -> System Administration -> Login Manager -> Users, you can change the images for users. As for settings icons and other settings, you can edit the users .kde/share/config/kdeglobals or the general kdeglobals file and setting the theme you want in the icon section.

Thank you. I will give those a shot.

It seems this only affects the icon that represents the users on the login menu.

I am trying to change the default wallpaper and icons, etc that are set when a new user acct is created.
