can't get philips ed16dvdsk/00 portable drive running in SuSE 10.1

Hi linux gurus,

Does anyone know how I can get my portable drive (philips ED16DVDSK/00) running in SuSE 10.1? I have already called philips customer support and checked their website, but they don't supply any drivers/support for Linux.

Tnx, D
